A cricket match is sometimes played with a strong team and sometimes not with a very strong team, so when a match is played with a strong team that also has a batsman who is a very high-ranked batsman so when the ICC ranks a bowler they see the performance of a bowler the last year and checks how many wickets a bowler has taken and how many runs he has conceded in the matches he has played in the last year and the wickets he has taken of the high ranked batsman and if he has taken the wicket of high ranked batsmen he gets good points and all this combined gives him a rank according to his performances for the past one year.
