AB de Villiers and to elaborate on the name it is Abraham Benjamin de Villiers. He was born on 17 February 1984. He is a former South African international cricketer who represented South Africa across all the formats of the game of cricket. He was given a very interesting nickname due to his all-round hitting abilities and the name given to him was Mr.360. He was considered one of the greatest players in the history of the sport. He started his international career as a wicket-keeper batsman. He was selected as the ICC (International Cricket Council) ODI Player of the Year 3 times in his entire career of 15 years. AB de Villiers was also one of the 5 Wisden Cricketers of the year. He has done batting at different positions on the team. He was believed to be the most destructive batsman because of his unorthodox hitting abilities, especially behind the wicketkeeper. He played his debut test match against England in the year 2004. He made his first appearance in the One Day Internationals in the year 2005. His T20I debut was in the year. He is one of the few batsmen to have a batting average of above 50 in both test matches and ODI matches and has scored over 8000 runs in both formats of the game. AB de Villiers has the record for scoring the fastest century which came in just 31 deliveries.

His ODI career was equally delightful as his test career he scored 9577 runs in the 228 One Day Internationals with an average above 50 scoring a whopping 25 centuries and 53 half-centuries with the top score of 178 runs.

He has done his schooling at Afrikaanse Hoer Seunskool in Pretoria with teammate Faf Du Plessis who is still his good friend. He is also a High School Graduate. His father was a Doctor who played rugby at the Rugby Union during his childhood and he also encouraged young de Villiers to take part in sports.
